Rachel Conner

Rachel Conner a 19-year old holds the all-time 18-hole scoring record on the Duramed Futures Tour. Rachel - a k a "Chill" - is from England  and is in her rookie season on the Futures Tour.

In the first round of Tate & Lyle Players Championship, Connor shot 29-32. That adds up to 61. And it's the first 61 ever posted in a DFT tournament. The previous tour record was 62, recorded by Erica Blasberg and Sue Ginter-Brooker. Connor's 29 over the front nine also tied the tour record for nine holes. Others shooting 29 over nine on the DFT include Lorena Ochoa, Nicole Castrale, Seon-Hwa Lee and Eunjung Yi. Pretty good company.

In seven previous starts in this, her rookie season, Connor's best finish is a tie for 15th. Clearly, she has the scoring ability to post some high finishes over the remainder of the season.
