Lower Back Pain

I have a few easy golf stretching exercises that can help those golfer dealing with stiff and achy backs.  You can do these exercise in the comfort of your office.

The seated twist is a fantastic golf stretching exercise that could loosen up that lower back to minimize some pain, this will give you a great backswing and follow-through range of motion.

One body part we don't think about is your hamstring, stretching your hamstring is an effective golf stretch which will loosen up your lower back and hamstring.  These stretchs will help you maintain your golf posture, lessness the pain and discomfort in the lower back.

Try these Seated Twist steps:
1. Sit upright in your chair, chest high and your back straight.
2. Reach behind you with your left arm, this will rotate your upper body.
3. Leverage your right arm against your left leg, this will create some torque.
4. Hold for 10 seconds
5. Switch arms and rotate to the opposite sie, hold and then repeat.

The Seated Twist try it before your next round of golf.
